"Off to the Fair" Contemporary Figurative Art by Arizona Artist Mary Opat

"Off to the Fair" Contemporary Figurative Art by

Arizona Artist Mary Opat

 11" x 14" Oil on Canvas

In this painting I tried to have focus on the little girl by

painting her in detail and full view, while painting her

father a little more abstract, even letting some of the canvas

show through.  The face on the little girl is very expressive.

Happiness Tree, Just For Fun Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" x 1.5", Oil, $60

I find myself doing more experimental, whimsical art ~

what I call Just For Fun ~ while finding it therapeutic and appealing to many.

And this marks Day 1 of 60 days of $60 paintings

as we approach our favorite holidays,

Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The image carries over to the 1.5" sides and is ready to be set on

a kitchen counter, bookshelf, desk or hung on a wall.
